A pioneering social enterprise bakery founded in 1982 in Yonkers, Greyston has long produced handcrafted brownies and blondies for Ben & Jerry's ice cream while running one of the country's most progressive employment models — Open Hiring, where anyone can get a job without a background check, interview, or resume. The bakery offers a full line of rich, kosher brownies and blondies including vegan options through its storefront and online shop, available as corporate gifts, party packs, and bulk foodservice orders. Greyston was New York State's first registered benefit corporation.
