A certified-organic grain farm and on-farm feed mill outside Hudson in Columbia County, farming roughly 2,000–3,000 acres of organically managed pasture, hay, and grains — corn, peas, soybeans, wheat, barley, oats, sunflowers, and flax — in a long-term regenerative crop rotation that builds soil health. Founded in 1979 by Peggy McGrath Rockefeller to conserve farmland near New York City, the farm transitioned to certified-organic production and now mills its own grains into balanced animal feed rations for cattle, hogs, chickens, turkeys, goats, and sheep, alongside food-grade grains for local millers, bakers, and distillers. Certified organic by NOFA, USDA, and the Real Organic Project; offers soy-free feeds, minerals and supplements, custom blends, whole grains, hay, and cover-crop seed. Available for pickup at the mill, bagged/tote freight shipping, or bulk delivery within ~40 miles of Hudson. Open Monday–Friday 10am–4pm.
