One of the oldest sporting clubs in the Hudson Valley, the Philmont Rod & Gun Club has operated in the Village of Philmont, Columbia County since the late 1890s, incorporated in 1923. A 200+ member organization with outdoor shooting ranges, trap ranges, sporting clays, 3D archery, a fishing pond, and over 900 acres of owned and posted land for deer, turkey, and small game hunting. Dedicated to sportsmanship, conservation, open space preservation, and legal safe gun ownership. A cornerstone of the Columbia County outdoor sporting tradition.
