Family-run land stewardship and conservation project on 106 acres in Rensselaerville, in the southern Helderbergs of Albany County. The property includes a 9-acre lake, woodlands, native plantings, and pollinator habitat managed with minimal human interference, providing sanctuary for wildlife and contemplative space for visitors. Proceeds from native and pollinator plant sales support habitat expansion and a developing food forest. Operates alongside two affiliated efforts on the same land: Garden of One, a small organic herbal and wellness product line, and The Returning Center, a holistic retreat sanctuary offering small-group stays at the Moonlit Chalet, Lakeside Cabin, and Sacred Hollow glampsite. Currently a family-run effort rather than a state- or federally-recognized nonprofit; donations are not tax-deductible.
