Six-generation family farm established in 1857 in the heart of the Schoharie Valley, now farming 150+ acres of diverse fruits and vegetables. One of the most celebrated farm stands in the Capital Region, offering 60+ hand-harvested varieties of seasonal produce including sweet corn, tomatoes, potatoes, blueberries, and all fall crops. Open daily May through November from the main farmstand at Route 30, Middleburgh, plus four mobile satellite stands across the Capital District during summer. Seven greenhouses produce lush hanging baskets, vegetable starts, and flowering plants from late April. Also home to 1857 Spirits — Barber's Farm Distillery (separate listing), producing estate potato vodka with a tasting room on site.
