Family-run shooting preserve in the Town of Clinton, Dutchess County, established in 1966 by the Mackin family and operated today by Tom and Carol Mackin. DEC-licensed for upland bird and waterfowl shooting on hundreds of acres divided into multiple 100-acre hunting areas, each managed with a blend of natural and cultivated cover. Quarry includes ring-necked pheasant and chukar partridge October through March, plus mallard duck shooting from blinds on a pond October through November. A regulation sporting clays course is also available, and the hunting lodge welcomes guests for coffee, lunch by the stone fireplace, and bird-exchange or take-home options after the hunt.
