Spinners and weavers guild founded in 1972, named for the Palisades cliffs along the lower Hudson. Most members hail from Rockland and Bergen counties and the NYC metropolitan area. Despite the name, member interests extend well beyond spinning and weaving to knitting, dyeing, felting, beadwork, and lacemaking. Dedicated to both traditional techniques and new explorations in fiber arts.
