One of the most beloved farmers markets in the Catskills, held at the historic Round Barn of Halcottsville on Route 30, approximately five miles north of Arkville/Margaretville. Established in 1991, the market has run for over 33 years and draws locals, weekenders, and celebrities alike. Operating Saturdays 9am–1pm from mid-May through November, with an extended Holiday Market in October and November running 10am–1pm. Vendors offer vegetables, fruit, pasture-raised meats, trout, artisan cheeses, breads, honey, maple, bedding plants, prepared foods, and artisan goods including jewelry, soaps, wool, and wood products. Picnic tables and breakfast/brunch food vendors make it a popular socializing destination. Rain or shine; no dogs.
