Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schenectady County, serving the region since 1918 from Suite 301 at 107 Nott Terrace in Schenectady. Programs cover agriculture and food systems, energy efficiency, gardening and horticulture, environment, nutrition and healthy living, parenting, sustainable living, 4-H youth development, and composting and recycling. Operates a Sustainable Living Center. Coordinates and supports the county's growing network of farmers markets. Offers free or low-cost workshops connecting residents to research-based resources from Cornell University.
