Dutchess County handspinners guild meeting roughly once a month on a Saturday at the historic Elmendorph Inn in Red Hook. Members spin, knit, crochet, weave, chat, and learn together from 10am to 3pm. The guild demonstrates fiber arts at events throughout the year, including in the Wool Room at the Dutchess County Fair, and competes in Fleece-to-Shawl contests at the Ulster County Fair, the Dutchess County Fair, and the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck.
